This virtual presentation, part of the Parent to Parent NYC Special Education Task Force Lunch & Learn Series, will provide information on the rights of students with disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504). Both offer helpful protections and options for students with a wide range of disabilities. When used alone, or in combination with the IDEA, they can help students receive an accessible and effective education.
